Laura was 4th in the U15 girls standings in the 2002-2003 Reebok Challenge series with 98 points. 

Laura took the silver medal in the U15 girls 1500m at the SEAA Track and field championships, with a time of 4:40.21. 

She then went on to take bronze medal in the English Schools (Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield) 1500m race in 4:39.21.

Laura on the U15s race at the Reebok Challenge in Cardiff. “Laura ran exactly as I asked her to,” said proud coach Steve Benson.

Laura was 7th in the South of England Cross-country U15s Race at Parliament Hill, London in a time of 18:17.

Pre-race: Nottingham:  Laura Dowsing (395) is third in the Reebok Cross Challenge standings with 57 points – just as she was third in the Junior Girls race at last winter’s English Schools Championships.

In March, Laura was 49th in the Inter Girls' race at English Schools in Maidstone, Kent.

Laura was 12th in the Intermediate Girls' 3000m at English schools, just a second behind Hampshire's Hayley Pointer in a class race, won by Gloucestershire's Emily Pidgeon.
